I felt it important to let you know that our stay at the Hideout campsite was a highlight of our trip!  We loved the quiet, solitude and beauty.  We are both enthusiastic photographers and we had great fun with our cameras. After the good rains in the area the very lush grass was a wonderful contrast to the dunes and mountains and we are thrilled with our photos.

The campsite itself is very good as is the ablution – it is always a bonus to have private facilities.  Our 3 hour drive with Titus was worth every cent, and as I noted in your guest book it should really be ‘part of the deal’ because it added tremendously to our enjoyment and experience (I do realise though that the extra cost could put some people off).

We feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to stay at Hideout.  We hope to repeat the experience! [Preiss, South Africa, March 2014]
